“THE LITTLE PRINCE is the top soundtrack to own for September 2016…” – filmmusicmag.com
Incredible reviews are still pouring in after the release of ‘The Little Prince’ on Netflix.com this August. Both the film and the soundtrack have now touched audiences all over the world and Richard Harvey and Hans Zimmer’s score, with the voice of the unique French artist Camille is being lauded from all angles. Here are a few of our favourite comments:
“The visual style faithfully renders the illustrated forms of its characters, and the accompanying score by Richard Harvey and Oscar winner Hans Zimmer perfectly complements the thoughtful sense of wonder that underscores the story.” – http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/little-prince-review/
“Hans Zimmer and Richard Harvey’s score hits all the right notes in setting a sweet tone.” – http://deadline.com/2016/08/the-little-prince-movie-review-netflix-1201798578/
“(The) score for this movie is enchanting. At times a musical translation of timelessness, it also transports the viewer to the core of de Saint-Exupéry’s desire to cling to his childhood wisdom.” – http://www.filmjournal.com/reviews/film-review-little-prince
“…co-composer Hans Zimmer…with Richard Harvey weave(…) an utterly enchanting soundtrack that resonates with both optimism, and fateful realization… Seamlessly combining their distinctively melodic approaches into a one voice, Zimmer and Harvey capture “The Little Prince’s” more obvious slapstick antics with a deeper, moving story that’s signifies that hard realities of growing up… And when it comes to eliciting emotion that signals the off-screen end of life, violins and angelic vocals effortlessly elicit tears while conveying the next, blissful flight of the afterlife.” – http://www.filmmusicmag.com/?p=16554
The soundtrack is now available for purchase from online retailers Amazon and iTunes.
