In 2001 Richard Harvey received a Royal Invitation to score for the major and historic “Suriyothai”. He went on to win a Thailand National Film Association Award for his music to “Kenubab Prompiram” (2003) and to score the epic biographical drama film “The Legend of Naresuan, Parts I and II” (2006-2007). This soundtrack album about a princess and her destiny to take part in a battle that will demand the ultimate sacrifice, is a rare and beautiful example of authentic Thai music masterly integrated into a western orchestral environment.¶
