Granada Television’s highly commended “Colditz” (2005), directed by Stuart Orme, charts the infamous escape attempts of British soldiers from Colditz Castle during World War II. Richard Harvey’s strong and inspired score not only beautifully accompanies love scenes but dramatically enhances battleground violence and truly captures the tension experienced by desperate prisoners of war. It was nominated for an Ivor Novello award under the category “Best Television Soundtrack”.¶
